WTF [01 Jan 2010|05:46am] lover_for_a_fee vervezero: (5:25:23 AM) Caitlin Archibald sometimes it takes near death experiences to make you realize how lucky you are. vervezero: (5:25:26 AM) what happened flawednarcissist: (5:26:00 AM) well, i was walking home from pam's house. i was drunk, so i thought walking would be the best mode of transportation. flawednarcissist: (5:26:05 AM) apparently, i was wrong. flawednarcissist: (5:26:42 AM) a cop car pulled along side me to offer me a ride. i was talking to them and they were talking me into letting them take me home because i was drunk, it was cold, and super slippery out. flawednarcissist: (5:27:21 AM) while we were talking, i notice headlights barreling towards us. the car was going at least twice the speed limit and swerving all over the road. flawednarcissist: (5:28:06 AM) before i knew it, the cop on the driver side jumped out of the car and fucking tackled me to the ground while the car fucking jumps the curb and manages to stop not even six inches from the front of the cop car's bumper flawednarcissist: (5:28:29 AM) the other cop jumped out of the passenger side, pulled the guy out of the car, and starts beating the shit out him. flawednarcissist: (5:28:52 AM) meanwhile, the hero cop helps me to my feet, asks me if he had hurt me, apologizes, and calls another car to come get me. flawednarcissist: (5:28:59 AM) i was almost killed. flawednarcissist: (5:29:04 AM) i still can't believe it. flawednarcissist: (5:29:37 AM) the whole ride home i kept babbling and crying to the officer that the only time i had ever been in a police car was when i was four and they came to my nursery school to show us where the bad guys go. vervezero: (5:30:04 AM) are you okay? flawednarcissist: (5:30:06 AM) it's funny. i always hated cops and thought they were pains in the ass... but i guess it's completely different when you're a victim. flawednarcissist: (5:30:15 AM) i'm alright. just a little shaken. vervezero: (5:30:26 AM) that cop sounds boss as hell flawednarcissist: (5:30:57 AM) seriously. i didn't even get to find out his name. but i'm going to call tomorrow and find out who he is to tell the chief how fucking awesome he is. flawednarcissist: (5:31:26 AM) i couldn't believe he was apologizing for tackling me. i was just like, "officer, it is completely okay. i would much rather be face-first in the snow then run over by a car" vervezero: (5:33:05 AM) i'm glad you are okay flawednarcissist: (5:34:55 AM) thanks. i am, too. while we were pulling up to my house, i asked the officer to shut off his fancy lights because i didn't want my dad to have a heart attack. haha. he obliged. vervezero: (5:35:07 AM) lol vervezero: (5:35:15 AM) i don't know whether to like your comment or not vervezero: (5:35:24 AM) on facebook flawednarcissist: (5:35:31 AM) haha why? vervezero: (5:35:37 AM) hooray for realization vervezero: (5:35:42 AM) boo to near death experience flawednarcissist: (5:36:24 AM) it's just so crazy. if that cop had hesitated even a moment, i would probably be dead or at least seriously injured. flawednarcissist: (5:36:51 AM) all i heard was "holy shit!" and the car hitting the curb vervezero: (5:37:24 AM) he's a man's man :O flawednarcissist: (5:38:14 AM) i can't help but think of how fucked this other guys life is now. flawednarcissist: (5:38:35 AM) not only was he speeding, swerving, and drunk driving, but he also nearly killed two cops and a pedestrian. vervezero: (5:38:39 AM) well, imagine how fucked he'd be if he had actually hit you flawednarcissist: (5:38:51 AM) yeah... flawednarcissist: (5:39:06 AM) my dad thinks they got me out of there so fast because they were planning on beating the shit out of him further. flawednarcissist: (5:39:12 AM) it was brutal, jake. i had never seen anything like it. vervezero: (5:39:29 AM) hopefully it was your pedo neighbor flawednarcissist: (5:39:46 AM) haha. no, it wasn't. flawednarcissist: (5:39:48 AM) but like.. man. flawednarcissist: (5:40:12 AM) the cop grabbed him, pulled him out of the car, and started bashing the dude's head into the car in like one swift motion. flawednarcissist: (5:40:21 AM) then he was on the ground, being cuffed and kicked. flawednarcissist: (5:40:40 AM) then another cop came and dragged him face down along the ground and threw him face down into a pile of snow. vervezero: (5:41:10 AM) owned vervezero: (5:41:17 AM) did they ask you if you wanted a shot in? flawednarcissist: (5:41:39 AM) haha. no. they asked me to stand still. vervezero: (5:42:22 AM) "drinking and driving and trying to run over a sweet little lady??
